Zion’s garbage FAQ explains that automated household collection is curbside rather than in alleys. It also directs residents to arrange bulk items with Waste Management instead of placing unarranged items outside the cart.
That is guidance for municipal collection, not a requirement that you carry everything outside for a private removal quote. Tell us where the furniture is now, and confirm the carrying work and loading position with us before relocating it.

Note the floor, number of stair flights and any tight turn between the item and the exit. Mention pieces that were assembled inside the room and may not fit through its doorway intact.
Through the entrance
Identify the door you expect to use and whether gates, railings or other belongings restrict the route. Keep keys available and clear loose items from the walkway.
At the loading point
Explain the available space and any shared access or parking instructions. If permission is needed from a property manager, arrange it before confirming the work.

No. Check Zion’s current collection guidance and arrange eligible bulk items with the provider. For our service, agree on where the items will be picked up before moving them.
Do I need to put everything on the curb for a quote?
No. Describe its current location and the carrying route. The estimate should reflect the actual work you are asking us to do.
What should I say about an upstairs sofa?
Give its approximate size, stair flights, landings and any tight doorway. Mention detachable sections or legs and discuss handling before the appointment.
